Benefits and Features
Why choose the Timmy?
The Timmy is a bed for those with limited mobility, who cannot pull to stand or kneel, needing a high degree of care in bed. Because all 4 sides quickly lower, access is not restricted at all.

Timmy 1
Who is Timmy 1 suitable for?
The Timmy 1 is a bed for those with limited mobility, who cannot pull to stand or kneel, needing a high degree of care in bed. Because all 4 sides quickly lower, access is not restricted at all.
Medical care & therapy
Timmy 1 has a 65 cm high side. All four sides can be lowered to various settings. This allows for care to be administered from all sides of the bed. In an emergency, the sides can be quickly lowered for unrestricted access to the user. The electrical height adjustment raises the mattress to a safe working height for care givers.
A popular option is to have the hose routing bed posts which allow for use of a respirator or feeding tubes, that are not compromised by lowering the sides. All Timmy Beds are fitted with 13.5 cm high locking castors.
- Easy unrestricted access due to 4 lowerable 65cm sides
- Ideal for those needing high levels of care in bed
- Not suitable for independent transfers.
- Fully compliant with BSEN60601-2-52 and BSEN50637:2017
Timmy 1 Easy Lift
Who is Timmy1 Easy Lift suitable for?
The base of Timmy 1 Easy Lift is identical to Timmy 1. Additionally, it offers one or two longer sides which are very easy to operate. This makes Timmy Easy Lift the ideal solution for parents or carers with physical disabilities or limitations.
Easy Lift side
The easy to lift and lower side can be moved up or down with virtually no effort. Counterweights hold the side in every position. For locking, one simply moves the lattice to the next catch where it will lock. We achieve this with a maintenance-free system that is integrated into the wooden bed posts. The wooden bed posts are fitted with solid wooden heads.
- Easy Lift side can be on one or both longer sides.
- Lowered or raised without minimal effort.
- Developed for very passive children, needing high degrees of care.
- Easy unrestricted access due to 4 lowerable 65cm sides
- Height adjustable with electrical motor frames
- Fully compliant with BSEN60601-2-52 and BSEN50637:2017
Timmy 2
Who is Timmy 2 suitable for?
The Timmy 2 is a bed for those with limited mobility, who cannot pull to stand or kneel, needing a high degree of care in bed. Because all 4 sides quickly lower, access is not restricted at all. It is like the Timmy1 but with lower sides.
Medical care & therapy
Timmy 2 has a 43 cm high side.
- Easy unrestricted access due to 4 lowerable 43cm sides
- Ideal for those needing high levels of care in bed, with little or no movement
- Not suitable for independent transfers.
- Fully compliant with BSEN60601-2-52 and BSEN50637:2017
Timmy Telescope
Who is Timmy Telescope suitable for?
Compared to the other Timmy variants Timmy Telescope has a much lower access height. Furthermore, there is the option to have one or two sides which telescope. This makes Timmy Telescope the ideal solution for everyone that can get in and out of the bed by themselves and wants the height adjustment and a high side.
The lowerable sides
The sides can be lowered and locked in several positions. When lowered completely, the top metal bars are lowered into the hollow lower bars, so are telescopic. The lowering process is very easy and can be done in one movement.
- Developed for less active children, with the option of self-entry
- Easy unrestricted access due to 1 or 2 telescopic 79cm sides
- Height adjustable with electrical motor frames
- Fully compliant with BSEN60601-2-52 and BSEN50637:2017

Is padding included?
No, padding isn’t an option for Timmy Beds. If you need padding, then look at a bed with doors that open outwards.
Is a mattress included?

What if I need access feed tubing?
There are two solutions. The Timmy can be specified with rails, that allow for the tubing to easily pass through the sides. Alternatively, you can have hose routing which allows for the sided to be lowered without affecting the tubing.
