Synopsis

Cot bed regulations are complex and can often be misunderstood by clinicians when prescribing cot beds for clients. The aim of the session is to provide information that specifically relates to the BS EN regulations. Products will be used within the webinar to specifically highlight the information being discussed, as this is expected to provide a more informative learning experience.

Learning objectives

• What the standards BS EN 50637:2017 & BS EN 60601-2-52 relate to
• Understanding the key components relating to the regulations
• Selecting the correct cot bed to meet the child’s needs whilst conforming to the regulations
• Variable height for carers explained
• Manufacture conformity of materials
